Dr. Monica Lewis
Dr. Monica Lewis received her Bachelor of Science in Biology in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Georgia in 1992 and she also received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia in 1995. She practiced medicine in the state of Georgia for 5 years before marrying and moving to Miami, Florida. While in Florida she practiced with her husband at Crossroads Animal Hospital for 6 years. In 2006 she became the medical director of the Veterinary Medical Center of Clayton. Dr. Lewis is a member of the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Florida Veterinary Medical Association and the South Florida Veterinary Medical Association. Her professional interest includes internal medicine, preventive medicine and soft tissue surgery and wound care.
Dr. Jose Feneque
Dr. Jose Feneque received his Bachelor of Science in Animal Industry at the University of Puerto Rico in 1991 and his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia in 1996. He practiced for a period of 10 years as an associate veterinarian at Crossroads Animal Hospital, one of the busiest veterinary hospitals in Miami, Florida. He also was member of the Science Advisory Board for the Nanotechnology Development Corporation. Dr. Feneque is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Florida Veterinary Medical Association and the South Florida Veterinary Medical Association. His special interests includes the veterinary applications of nanotechnology, veterinary pediatrics, soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. Dr. Feneque is fluent in Spanish and enjoys providing veterinary services and orientation to the local hispanic community.
